She picks others up

even when she is down.

She is a firework,

covers the world in sparks.

She lights up the night

even when she feels dark.

She is a rainbow,

pokes out after the storm.

She heightens people’s days,

even when she is low.

She is inside you,

waiting to be pulled out from the tangles,

waiting for her moment to shine,

waiting,

patiently.
